The Full Story
I am an experienced Marketing Liaison and Social Media Manager with a demonstrated passion for working in the Sports industry. I am skilled in photography, videography, video editing, public speaking, Canva Expert, Wix website design, and motivational speaking. I have a degree in Marketing from the University of Tampa and an MBA from Louisiana State University.
While attending the University of Tampa, I was a play-by-play broadcaster for the Tampa Spartans. I broadcasted Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, and Basketball for three years. Some of my broadcasting calls can be heard on the LG X NCAA documentary, "The Rivalries: Melee on the Bay". While calling baseball games for the University of Tampa I was able to interview X4 Gold Glove Winner and Tampa Bay Rays Center Fielder Kevin Kiermaier. On off days I worked day and night shifts for the New York Yankees as a security guard. I also spent most nights running the social media and marketing for an event company called Collegebangers.
After my time in Tampa, I decided to get my M.B.A from Louisiana State University. While at LSU, I worked exclusively in branding athletes independently and collaborating with local brands. I have successfully written, filmed, and directed 3 NIL social media skits that have all averaged over 9,000+ views. As the year went on I was invited to come interview athletes at LSU's end-of-year award ceremony (The MIKEYS), where I interviewed the likes of Dylan Crews (2023 National Champion and Golden Spikes Award winner), Olivia Dunne (Highest Paid NIL Athlete, SI Swimsuit Model and LSU Gymnast, Tre Morgan (2023 National Champion), Brooks Curry (Olympic Gold Medalist) and many more.
After achieving my MBA at Louisiana State University, I created content and worked on branding collegiate baseball players from all levels as part of the Texas Collegiate Team, the Baton Rouge Rougarou. I created Mic'd Up episodes that you can view at the top of this website. I also created a social media show called, Roux Central where I interviewed first-pitch celebrities, sponsors, and the players. Early on in the summer, I took over running the Rougarou's Social Media where I played a major role in raising their Instagram following 700%. I was also asked to be a reporter at the 2023 Texas Collegiate League All-Star game where I interviewed players from every TCL Team. At this event, I also interviewed LSU athletes Malik Nabers, George Brooks Jr, Harold Perkins, Sean Burrell, and Alex Milazzo.
While running the Rougarou's social medias I was also a Top Ten Analyst for the Traction Sports Performance FNA Flag football league where I edited, directed, and hosted weekly episodes on Instagram. I also hold the record for highest highest-viewed FNA Top Ten video in its history.
While at Traction Sports Performance I created and edited videos for Cypress Mounds Miracle League where I filmed special events and interviewed LSU athletes who would come out and donate their time.
I was then invited to be a reporter at the 2023 Fall JUCO Classic at Alex Box Stadium.
After my time with Traction Sports Performance, I began my time as a content creator and social media manager for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. In the first month, I helped the Hall of Fame achieve its highest-viewed video on Instagram at 34,000 views. After only a few months of working there, I helped the Hall of Fame pass the 1k follower mark on Instagram. I also represented the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame at the 2024 Reliaquest Bowl where I interviewed Wisconsin Badger Players, LSU all-time receiving yards leader, Malik Nabers, standout wide receiver, Brian Thomas Jr, and Heisman Trophy winner, Jayden Daniels.
While working at the Hall of Fame, I have interviewed Ben Mcdonald (Olympic Gold Medalist), Jay Johnson (LSU head baseball coach and 2023 National Champion), Roger Clemens (X7 Cy Young Award winner and X2 World series Champion), Ryan Theriot (2000 CWS National Champion and X2 World Series Champion), and Paul Mainieri (2009 CWS National Champion)
Currently, I create content and run social media for both the Baton Rouge Rougarou and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. In my free time, I interview athletes and help local athletes with Branding and Social Media.
